Please, Where a Mask

Like most of us in the nightmare… I mean new normal that is 2020, the highlight of my social life is now my weekly trips to the grocery store. If you thought that sentence was pathetic to read, imagine how I felt typing it.

My local grocery store, which was become my sole outlet for physical human interaction outside of my household, has done a commendable job navigating a world rife with COVID. With case numbers still on an upward trend here in North Carolina, masks are the new normal. In fact, when you enter the building, you’re greeted with a large sign informing patrons of the mask…
